Section 12(2) in The Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya Act, 2001
(2)Any other member may resign his office by giving a notice in writing to the [President] [Word substituted for the word 'Chairman' by W.B. Act 13 of 2006.], stating his intention so to do, and, on such resignation being accepted by the [Council] [Word 'Vidyalaya' first substituted for the words 'Governing Body' by W.B. Act 7 of 2002, then the word within third brackets' substituted for the word 'Vidyalaya' by W.B. Act 13 of 2006.], such member shall be deemed to have vacated his office.
