Section 15 in Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material
15. Footnote e/ of Annex II of the Convention is replaced by the following text:
e/ Other fuel which by virtue of its original fissile material content is classified as Category I and II before irradiation may be reduced one category level while the radiation level from the fuel exceeds 1 gray/hour (l00 rads/hour) at one metre unshielded.Now therefore, in the exercise of the power conferred by sub-section 4 of Section 3 of the Indian Extradition Act 1962 (34 of 1962), the Central Government hereby directs that the provisions of the said Act, other than Chapter III, shall apply to States Parties to the Convention with effect from the date of publication of this notification, in respect of the offences specified in the Convention.
