Section 2(r) in Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Act, 1994
(r)"student" means a person duly admitted as a full-time or a part-time student in any of the Academic departments or the institutions of the University in accordance with the Regulations to undergo a course of study or research, leading to a degree, diploma or certificate of the University;
