Section 70(2)(b) in The Khadi And Village Industries Commission Employees (Pension) Regulations, 1984

(b)In case the employee was on extraordinary leave on the date of death, the correctness of the emoluments for a maximum period of one year which he drew proceeding the date of the commencement of the extra-ordinary leave shall be verified.
