Section 19(1) in Competition Commission of India (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combinations) Regulations, 2011
(1)The Commission shall form its prima facie opinion under sub - section (1) of section 29 of the Act, on the notice filed in Form I or Form II, as the case may be, as to whether the combination is likely to cause or has caused an appreciable adverse effect on competition within the relevant market in India, within [thirty working days] [Substituted 'thirty days' by the Competition Commission of India (Procedure in regard to the transaction of business relating to combinations) Amendment Regulations, 2015.] of receipt of the said notice.
