Section 33(6) in Faridabad Complex Administration Building Rules, 1989
(6)Where the staircase is in a residential building and is not otherwise ventilated to the minimum extent of 1.2 metres in each flight, it shall be ventilated at the top by means of a window or a ventilator or skylight of an area not less than 1/3rd of the area of the sat staircase roof.
