(3)Land revenue leviable on any land and assessed or deemed to be assessed under any enactment or law in force before the commencement of this Act, with reference to the use of that land,-(a)for purpose of dwelling houses;(b)for industrial or commercial purposes; or(c)for any other non-agricultural purpose,shall, notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, continue to be levied at such rate at which it was levied or was leviable as at the commencement of this Act, unless such assessment is commuted in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (4).
