Section 8(2)(e) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(e)The Commission may accord priority in financial grants-in-aid to those institutions, otherwise eligible to receive grants under Section 12-B of the Act, which report a blemishless record in terms of there being no reported incident of ragging.
