Facts:
1. The appeal was scheduled for hearing on 23 rd April, 2010, but the appellant did not avail of the opportunity of personal hearing. The appeal is therefore examined on merit.
2. In response to the RTI application, the CPIO has informed that the desired information are not available, hence could not be furnished. Being dis-satisfied with the CPIO's response, the appellant pleaded for providing the desired information.
Decision:
3. The information seeker should ask the information as per section 2 (f) and
(j) of the Act. The appellant is accordingly advised. The requester is not expected to ask for information on the basis of presumption about the availability of the information. Nor, he is expected ask for information in the form of various queries, as has been attempted in the instant case.
4. With these remarks, this appeal is disposed of.
