Section 10(1) in The Gujarat Diseases of Animals (Control) Act, 1963
(1)When an animal is destroyed under sub-section (2) of section 9 its owner may be paid such compensation as shall be determined in the manner prescribed:Provided that no compensation shall be paid(i)to any person convicted of any offence punishable under this Act committed in respect of such animal; or(ii)in respect of any animal which, when it was imported, was affected with a scheduled disease on account of which it was destroyed.
