- Every still and every closed vessel in which gas is evolved or into which gas is passed , and in which the pressure is liable to rise to dangerous degree, shall have attached to it a pressure gauge, and a proper safety valve or other equally efficient means to relive the pressure, maintained in good condition. Nothing in these Rules shall apply to metal bottles or cylinders used for the transport of compressed gases.
