Section 30(1) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(1)Subject to such conditions as may be laid down by or under the provisions of this Act or the Statutes, the Academic Council shall study and make recommendations on the courses of study, curricula, conduct of teaching, research and extension education within the University and the maintenance of the standard thereof.
