Section 16(5) in The Maharashtra Land Revenue (Boundaries Boundary Marks) Rules, 1969

(5)If no contractor is selected by the holders, the Talathi shall send a report to the Tahsildar through the Circle Inspector before the 15th February for taking requisite orders.
