Section 5(2) in The Maharashtra Unemployment Allowance Payment To Workmen In Factories (For Temporary Period) Act, 1976
(2)No certificate under sub-section (1) shall be issued unless the employer has been given an opportunity to represent his case as to why he did not pay the unemployment allowance to the workman in accordance with the provisions of section 3, and his represen¬tation or any evidence produced by him is duly considered, if necessary, after hearing the employer.
