Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to directing the respondents to issue a Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate) to the petitioner within the short period of time fixed by this Court.

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue Degree Certificate to the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, based on instruction, submitted that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous since the said Degree Certificate was already given to the petitioner on 09.12.2014.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the said statement of the learned counsel for the respondents may be recorded and the writ petition may be closed.
4. Accordingly, recording the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
