Section 81(1) in The Gujarat Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region and Kutch) Area Act, 1958
(1)Where any land has been declared to be surplus land under any of the provisions of this Act, the State Government shall be deemed to have assumed the management of such land for a public purpose from the date of the declaration.
