Section 16 in Rules Regulating the Conditions of Sale of Timber from Established Depots
16. (a) A road permit shall have to be obtained from the Divisional Forest Officer, for plying truck or other heavy vehicles on forest roads at the rates given below :-
(i)Rs. 100 per quarter per vehicle, or(ii)Rs. 2 per vehicle per one side trip.(b)The period of a quarter will be reckoned as under:-(i)1st quarter-1st April to 30th June.(ii)2nd quarter-1st July to 30th September.(iii)3rd quarter-1st October to 31st December.(iv)4th quarter-1st January to 31st March.
