Section 2(i) in The Sugar Development Fund Rules, 1983
(i)'grade' means the Indian Sugar Standard grade, represented by the Standard sealed samples of sugar in bottles issued by the Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur conforming to the standards laid down by the Indian Standards Institution referred to in clause (e) of section 2 of the Indian Standards Institution (Certification Marks) Act, 1952 (36 of 1952);(ia)[ "National Bank" means the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development established under Section 3 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 (61 of 1981)] [Inserted vide GSR 279(E) dated 10.4.08.]
