(2)The term of office of a member elected under clause (I) of section 5 shall come to an end as soon as he ceases to be a member of the House from which he was elected [or he becomes Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, or Deputy Chairman of the Council of States, or a Minister.] [Words added by Amending Act No. 40 of 2005.].
