4. Objects of University.
- The University shall, among others, have the following purposes :-(a)making provision for the education in agriculture and other allied sciences;(b)furthering the prosecution of research, particularly, in agriculture and other allied sciences.(c)undertaking field extension programmes; and(d)such other purposes related to the aforesaid with the object of improving the level of living of rural people as the State Government may, by notification, direct.
