Section 177 in Instructions Relating to Liquor

177. Departmental badges and buttons.

- (i) Device for departmental badges and buttons :The monogram "A.E." encircled by a wreath with Imperial Crown above.
(ii)Buttons will be of white metal for Superintendents, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors and yellow metal for jamadars and peons. They will be concave, die-struck and embossed with departmental device and of the following sizes :
Large................. 35 Lines
Medium............. 30 Lines
Small................. 24 lines
