Section 7(i) in The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018
(i)to establish and maintain hostel including halls; recognise, guide, supervise and control hostels and halls not maintained by the Cluster University and other accommodations for the residence of the students, and to withdraw any such recognition;
