Section 167(3) in The Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994
(3)A Regional Transport Authority may in the case of stage carriages plying solely in any specified municipal or cantonment limits and in the environs thereof require that life guards of a type of the approved by the authority shall be fitted to the sides of the vehicle between the wheels.
