Section 6(1)(l) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(l)The institution shall tighten security in its premises, especially at vulnerable places and intense policing by Anti-Ragging Squad, referred to in these Regulations and volunteers, if any, shall be resorted to at such points at odd hours during the first few months of the academic session.
