The petitioner files the present writ petition for a direction upon the respondent
no. 4, Kolkata Primary School /Council to consider and take a decision in accordance with law in respect of the petitioner's representation dated 5th January, 2018.
Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that long back on 5th January, 2018, the petitiner made a representation before the Chairman, Kolkata Primary Schol Council. Unfortunately, till date no step has been taken by the Chairman to dispose of the said pending representation.
Mr. Vaisya, learned Advocate appearing for the Chairman submits that since the petitioner has already made a representation before the Chairman, Kolkata Primary School Council, therefore, court may direct the Chairman to consider and take a decision in respect of the petitioner's pending representation.
Considering the submission as advanced by learned Advocate appearing for the parties and after perusing the record, I direct the Chairman, Kolkata Primary School 2 Council to consider and take a decision in accordance with law in respect of the petitioner's pending representation dated 5th January, 2018 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative and thereafter communicate the decision to the petitioner within one week.
With these directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis.
