Section 35(1) in The Jammu and Kashmir Electricity Act, 1997 (1940 A.D.)
(1)The Government may by notification in the gazette, appoint duly qualified person to be Electric Inspectors and every Electric Inspector so appointed shall exercise the powers and perform the functions of an Electric Inspector under this Act within such areas and subject to such restrictions as the Government may direct.
