Section 1 in Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Act, 1987
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Act] [Substituted by Rajasthan Act 17 of 1992, dated 5-5-1992.], 1987.(2)[ It shall and shall be deemed to have come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.] [The Act has been brought into force from 1st of August, 1987, vide Notification dated 25-3-1989, Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV-C(II), dated 25-3-1989, page 507.]
