Section 14(1) in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
(1)If poll has to be taken, the Election Officer shall appoint forthwith one or more polling officers at each polling station and may pay the remuneration as fixed by the Government for their services. The Election Officer shall provide for each Polling Officer such number of clerks as may be necessary and also, if necessary appoint one or more identifying officers to assist the Polling Officer in identifying the electors.
