1. The present Petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., 1973 has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking to quash the FIR No. 0742/2023 for the offence under Sections 420/34 IPC registered at Police Station Narela.
2. Issue notice.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on advance notice, accepts notice on behalf of the State.
4. It is stated that the petitioners and the respondent No. 2 have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them and arrived at Settlement Deed dated 10.08.2024 . In view of the Settlement Deed, the present Petition has been filed.
5. It is further stated that the Respondent No. 3 was named in the FIR but was not an accused.
6. The attorney of the petitioner and the complainant are present before this Court in-person today and the petitioner is present through VC, and This is a digitally signed order.

The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily.
7. It was inter alia settled between the parties that the Petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs. 1,10,000/- in full and final settlement to the complainant. It is further stated that the petitioner has already paid Rs. 10,000/- and a Demand Draft bearing No. 493921for a sum Rs. 1,00,000/- i.e the balance amount, has been handed over to the respondent No. 2 by the petitioner in the Court today and the same has been accepted by the respondent No. 2/wife.
8. Today, the respondent No. 2, who is present in the Court, states that she has no objection if the FIR is quashed.
9. In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
10. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.
11. Accordingly, FIR No. 0742/2023 for the offence under Sections 420/34 IPC registered at Police Station Narela and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
12. The Petition stands disposed of.
