Section 16(2)(a) in The Merchant Shipping (Crew Accommodation) Rules, 1960

(a)Each of the following classes of persons shall be provided with sleeping rooms separate from those provided for the other classes.
(i)Offices.
(ii)Petty Officers.
(iii)Apprentices.
(iv)Ratings of the deck department other than petty officers.
(v)Ratings of the engine room department other than petty offices.
(vi)Ratings of catering department other than petty offices.
