Section 18(2) in U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Rules, 1952
(2)The [Assistant Collector of the first class] [Substituted by Notification No. 315-R(4)/I-A-1042-1955, dated 20.02.1957.] shall issue a notice to the mortgagee to deposit the amount referred to in clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 14 within six months from the date of vesting. If the amount is not deposited, he shall declare his land to be vacant land.
