Advocate for the Petitioner : MR. A BHATTACHARYYA

Advocate for the Respondent : ASSTT.S.G.I.

                                   BEFORE
HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KALYAN RAI SURANA

                                             ORDER

Date : 20.12.2021 Heard Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.S. Roy, learned CGC appearing for the respondent no.1, Mrs. R. Borah, learned standing counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3 and Mrs. D.D. Barman, learned Additional Senior Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondent no.4.

Aggrieved by the non-issuance of pass certificate in favour of the petitioner after clearing the Professional Development Programme for Elementary Teachers (PEPET)-(6 months bridge course) Examination held in the month of March, 2019, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

At the outset, the learned standing counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3 has produced a copy of result-sheet indicating that the petitioner has passed out on 10.11.2021. It is submitted that this certificate itself is a mark-sheet as well as pass certificate. A copy of the said pass certificate is retained on record.

Page No.# 3/3 A copy of the said certificate is also provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, the writ petition stands closed as the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. In the event, any authority would insist on the pass certificate, the petitioner would be at liberty to produce the order of the Court.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

The disposal of the writ petition shall not be a bar for the authorities to issue a pass certificate, if such certificate is issued.
