(1)There shall be a Library Committee for administering, organising and maintaining the Library of the University consisting of"(i)the Vice-Chancellor ex-officio Chairman(ii)three Deans of Faculties nominated by the Vice- Chancellor(iii)three Heads of University Departments nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;(iv)two Teachers nominated by the Executive Council;(v)the Registrar ; and(vi)the Librarian ex-officio Secretary.(2)All members of the Committee, other than ex-officio members, shall hold office for a period of three years.(3)The powers and duties of the Committee and the procedure at its meetings shall be as prescribed.
