46. Reference to government officers to be construed in case of change of designation as reference to corresponding offices.
- Where any provision of this Act or of the Statutes, Ordinances or Regulations refer to an officer of the State Government by designation, then, if that designation is altered or that office ceases to exist the reference shall be construed as a reference to the altered designation, or as the case may be, to such corresponding officer as the State Government may direct.
