Section 18(5) in The Assam Finance Service Rules, 1963
(5)During the period of attachment under sub-rule (7) of Rule 7, the candidate selected for attachment shall be treated as on deputation to the Finance Department on his own grade pay of the service/post to which he belonged prior to his selection as such.
