(4)This section shall come into force at once. The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, direct that all or any of the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force in such area and on such [date] [The remaining provisions of this Act came into force w.e.f. 16.8.1969 by notification. Text of notification is at the end of the Act.] as may be specified in the notification:Provided that the State Government may, by notification issued in like manner, exclude any road or way or class of roads or ways situate in such area from the operation of all or any of the provisions of this Act.
