Section 93(1) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation (Division of City into Wards, Reservation of Seats, and Conduct of Election) Rules, 2003
(1)No person in the employment or pay of a Corporation shall directly or indirectly engage in the canvassing for votes or otherwise assist in the election of any candidate to the Corporation except by giving his own vote.
