Section 299(2) in The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(2)In addition to serving a notice under this section on the owner of the building the Commissioner may serve a copy of the notice on any other person having an interest in the building or in the land on which such building has been erected, whether as mortgage, lessee, or otherwise.
