(5)[ The registration of a person as a registered graduate shall remain in force for such period as may be prescribed by Statutes and every person whose name is entered in the register of graduates or who is a registered graduate shall, if he is desirous of having his name continued or retained on such register or of continuing himself as a registered graduate, make an application to the Registrar for such purpose on the expiry of every such period as may be prescribed by Statutes. If no such application is made on the expiry of any period as so prescribed, the Registrar shall remove the name of the graduate concerned from the register and on such removal he shall cease to be a registered graduate.] [Sub-section (5) was inserted by Gujarat 15 of 1970, Section 5.]
