Section 11(1) in The Madhya Bharat Agricultural Debtor's Relief Act, 1956
(1)If, after examining the debtor, the Board is of opinion that it is desirable to make an attempt to effect a settlement between him and his creditors, a notice shall be issued and served or published in the manner prescribed, calling upon every creditor or debtor to submit a statement of debts payable to such creditor by the debtor. Such statement shall be submitted to the Board in writing on or before such date as the Board may fix in this behalf not being earlier than two months from the date of service of publication of the notice, as the case may be :Provided that, if the Board is satisfied that any creditor was, for good and sufficient cause, unable to comply with such direction, it shall extend the period for the submission of his statement of the debt owed to him.
