Section 457 in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
457. Proof of consent of municipal authorities or municipal officer.
- Whenever under this Act or any rule, by-law or regulation made under it the doing or the omitting to do anything or the validity of anything depends upon the approval, sanction, consent, concurrence, declaration, opinion or satisfaction of-(a)the council, a standing committee or the Commissioner; or(b)any municipal officer,a written document signed in case (a) by the Commissioner and in case (b) by the said municipal officer, purporting to convey or set forth approval, sanction, consent, concurrence, declaration, opinion or satisfaction, shall be sufficient evidence thereof.
