177. Appointment of Project Engineer.
(1)Every employer undertaking any excavation or tunneling work shall appoint a project engineer for safe operation of such projects of such excavation or tunneling work for which such engineer is appointed.(2)Such project engineer shall exercise overall control of the operations and the activities at such project and be responsible for carrying out the activities safely.
