1. Short title, extent and commencement
. - (1) These Rules may be called the Petty Offence Trial (Trial by Special Judicial Magistrates) Rules, 1996.(2)the extend to whole of the State of Punjab.(3)They shall come into force from the date they are published in the official gazette.
