Section 276(1) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(1)If the Health Officer or any officer of the Corporation authorised by him in this behalf, is of opinion that the cleansing or disinfecting of any building or any part of a building, or of any article therein which is likely to retain infection, or of any tank, pool or well, adjacent to a building, would tend to prevent or check the spread of any dangerous disease, he may cause to be cleaned or disinfected such building or part thereof, or article, tank, pool or well and may by written notice, require the occupier of such building or any part thereof to vacate the same for such time as may be prescribed in such notice.
