(j)[ "approved variety", means the variety of tobacco seeds recommended and released for general cultivation by the State or Central Government and supplied by such agencies as the Board may, from time to time, approve; [clauses (j) to (o) were inserted vide Tobacco Board (Amendment) Rules 1988 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary Part-II, Section-3 (i), dated 16-5-1988.]
