Section 5(2) in The Jammu And Kashmir Alienation of Land Rules, 1970
(2)In the following cases the Deputy Commissioner shall send to the Registering Officer of the Office in which the deed was originally registered, a copy of his order, namely:(a)where u/s 11(2) a mortgage deed is cancelled and a new deed is drawn up in lieu thereof or a condition intended to operate by way of conditional sale in a mortgage deed is struck off;(b)where a registered mortgage deed is revised or altered u/s 11(1).
