Section 387(2) in Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (9 of 1910), the Corporation shall not be liable, except on the ground of negligence, to any claim for compensation for any damage, detriment, inconvenience or nuisance caused by it or any one employed by it, in the exercise of any of the powers conferred by sub-section (1).
