Section 3(1) in The National Law University Orissa Act, 2008
(1)With effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint, there shall be established in the State of Orissa a University by the name of "National Law University, Orissa", which shall consist of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council and the Registrar.
