Status report/explanation of Smt. Monika Chouhan, Civil Judge (Junior Division), Phagwara was called for, which has been received. A perusal thereof indicates that despite she being made aware of the order dated 28.04.2016 passed by this Court had not been very diligent in dealing with the case in question despite a specific order passed by this Court directing the Court below to decide the application under Order 39 Rules 1 and 2 on the next date of hearing fixed before the Court i.e. 23.05.2016. Despite the early hearing application dated 25.05.2016 which was filed along with copy of the order dated 28.04.2016 passed by this Court, the case has been adjourned on various occasions.
