Section 1 in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh excluding cantonment areas.(3)[ It shall be deemed to have come into force on June 18, 1975.] [Substituted by U.P. Act No. 28 of 1978.]
